See Web Bookings Soar by 136%
|SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- February 8th, 2005 - Tiburon Hospitality Management
and its web development firm, Interactive Sites of Scottsdale, reported
a 136% increase in web bookings in 2004 over 2003, according to Lisa Stice,
Tiburon’s corporate director of internet marketing.
Stice attributes the surge in web revenues in 2004 to an aggressive search engine optimization strategy developed in partnership with Interactive Sites. After carefully analyzing and reviewing Tiburon’s three property web sites, Interactive Sites applied best-practice search optimization techniques and redesigned each of the property websites.
“As a result, each of our resorts experienced as many as 100 top ten, first page or first place rankings with Yahoo and Google alone in just three to six months after we launched the property web sites.” Stice also said all three properties have seen dramatic increases in e-commerce revenues due to the increased web bookings.
Optimizing the structure of Tiburon’s new web sites before they were launched was a critical phase in the design process, according to Interactive Sites President & CEO Michael L. Waltman.
“Implementing effective search engine marketing, coupled with a reciprocal link strategy, Tiburon’s portfolio benefited from a 61% overall increase in organic search engine traffic,” said Waltman.
“Website development is ultimately about results,” said Waltman. We thrive on seeing results like this because it only reinforces what a significant impact firm control of e-commerce capabilities can have on a resort’s bottom line.”
