David Kwok Appointed Director of Sales & Marketing
at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Hong Kong, 14 February 2005 --- The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, an iconic, contemporary hotel in Hong Kong�s Central district that promises new standards of luxury when it opens in the third quarter of this year, has announced the appointment of David Kwok as Director of Sales & Marketing.

David is an award-winning marketer who has worked for leading hotel brands for almost 20 years. Previously with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as Group Marketing Services Manager, he has also worked with other prestigious hotel brands such as Conrad International and Shangri La International Management. He returns to Mandarin Oriental from Hilton where he was Director of Business Development/Chief Commercial Officer in Dalian, China, and regional marketing co-ordinator for Greater China.

Born in Hong Kong, he is the son of Kenneth Kwok, OBE JP, and former Secretary for Works, and younger brother of Clement Kwok, CEO of The Peninsula Group. 

The 113 room Landmark Mandarin Oriental is owned by Hongkong Land, and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the award-winning owner and operator of some of the world�s most prestigious hotels and resorts, currently operating 21 luxury hotels with a further five under development in Hong Kong, Riviera Maya, Mexico and Tokyo (2005), Prague (2006) and Boston (2007).
