MCLEAN, VA (Oct. 14, 2004) � The most critical issues impacting Internet marketing professionals, from inventory management to search marketing and dynamic packaging, will headline the agenda when HSMAI presents the 3rd Hotel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference on Dec. 7, 2004 at the Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles, CA, immediately preceding the 2004 HEDNA Conference.

The day�s program will feature a welcome and introduction, lunch, networking break and closing session.  The following topics are scheduled to be discussed:

  • Inventory Management: Taking Control Back � the InterContinental case study
  • Trademark Protection: The latest on protecting your brand online
  • Dynamic Packaging: Is it for you?
  • Search Marketing: How will search marketing evolve in 2005?
  • Affiliate Marketing: Does it work? Is it worth the time and trouble?
�Since its inception, the Hotel Internet Marketing Committee has had outstanding success with the past two conferences, from both a content perspective and enthused participation standpoint, as each delivered a powerful day of dynamic programming that impacts Internet marketers on a daily basis,� states Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

Jens Thraenhart, director of Internet strategy, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, as well as chair of the Hotel Internet Marketing Committee explains: �The role of the Hotel Internet Marketing Conference is to raise awareness of issues that touch hotel marketers, such as intellectual property protection on the web as well as new evolving business models and online advertising trends.�

The registration fee is $195 for HSMAI members and $350 for non-members, the latter which includes a year of membership to HSMAI.  Rates are effective until Nov. 24, at which time they increase by $50.
