Most recently, he was a controller at JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek and has several years� experience as regional controller of Sage Hospitality Resources, where he managed a $60 million portfolio consisting of nine hotels and two office buildings throughout Colorado, California, Illinois and Louisiana.

Bethel was the controller at Denver�s Executive Tower Hotel and, prior to that, was the general manager of Four Points by Sheraton, Columbus, Ohio, and controller of the Sheraton Denver West, which are brands of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.

He received a bachelor�s degree in accounting from Ohio State University and is currently seeking a master�s in accounting from the University of Colorado, Denver.
