 Five Suburban Extended Stay Hotels
Open in the Eastern U.S.


ATLANTA – November 18, 2004 – Suburban Franchise Systems (SFS) announces the opening of five Suburban Extended Stay Hotels.  The addition of these properties extends Suburban’s network to Tallahassee, FL; Avondale, LA; Sterling, VA; and offers an additional locations in Jacksonville, FL and Chesapeake, VA.
“We are focused on franchise development and expanding our geographic reach to serve the increasing demand for economy extended stay hotels,” said Kevin Lewis, president of SFS. “Our recent growth spurt is a combination of current franchisees that see the value and exponential returns of investing in the Suburban brand and new franchisees that are diversifying their portfolio.”

Each owner is keeping within the brand standards including providing a full kitchen in each guest room as well as adding their own personal touches. The Tallahassee property, which serves a large legislative and University base, includes high speed Internet access, automated voice mail and wake-up call, direct dial to each guest room, swimming pool and sundeck. Adjacent to the Chesapeake Conference Center, the Chesapeake, Virginia property includes a fitness room, meeting room and a business center. The Sterling location, just north of Washington Dulles International Airport, is the first five-story interior hotel in the Suburban system.
