Sitting high on the bluffs overlooking the majestic Hudson River, Dolce Tarrytown House Celebrates its fortieth anniversary as the nations first open to the public conference center.

The 26 acre, 212 room executive conference center & hotel is centered around 2 exquisite 19th century mansions.  In 1964 visionary entrepreneur Robert L. Schwartz purchased the property from the family of Mary Duke Biddle whose mansion continues to be Tarrytown Houses centerpiece.

Realizing a need for a convenient, state of the art center dedicated to executive meetings, Schwartz began converting the residence into a commercial enterprise.  Opening in the Fall of 1964 original photos of the early meetings now adorn the propertys new $15 million dollar lobby.
