 Greek Mythology (Macau) Entertainment Group Limited HKD600-million New Century Hotel & Casino Opens

MACAU, Dec. 22, 2004 - Macau gaming and entertainment group Greek Mythology (Macau) Entertainment Group Limited is opening a new Greek Mythology Casino at New Century Hotel on December 23, 2004.  The first phase of this integrated casino and entertainment project has a total gross floor area of 160,000 sq ft and called for an investment of HKD600 million.

Design, construction and fitting out took six months to complete.  The casino is opening with 228 gaming tables in the first phase, with a further expansion to 500 tables on an area of 300,000 sq ft scheduled for 2005.  In the third phase, a new hotel wing will be built to house another 500 gaming tables.  Greek Mythology will spend HK$5 million a month to provide free entertainment performances, including Moulin Rouge, for the enjoyment of visitors.

In 2005, Macau's casinos are projected to generate an aggregate income of US$5 billion, taking over Las Vegas as the world's largest gaming market.  Sociedade de Jogos de Macao, S.A. accounted for more than 80% of total gaming revenues in Macau with the remaining contributed by Sands, Galaxy and other major casinos.

On November 30, 2004, Greek Mythology (Macau) entered into an agreement with a Hong Kong listed company A-Max (Holdings) Limited (SEHK: 959) pursuant to which A-Max will become one of the major shareholders with a maximum equity interest of approximately 14% in Greek Mythology (Macau).  Greek Mythology Casino operates under a concession arrangement with Sociedade de Jogos de Macao, S. A.
