 Cendant Hotel Group Integrates with Former Ramada International Employees to Create New
International Structure

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Dec. 16, 2004) � Following its acquisition of Ramada International Hotels and Resorts, Cendant Hotel Group today announced that it has integrated its existing global staff with former Ramada International employees to create a platform for worldwide expansion. 

Reas M. Kondraschow, Cendant Hotel Group senior vice president and managing director, international, said that by merging the two teams, the company has expanded its International department and created �a seasoned, knowledgeable staff in key international markets to support existing franchisees and pursue aggressive development.

�Our new International structure provides the management, marketing, sales and operational expertise to fulfill the Hotel Group�s strategic imperative to grow Cendant�s well-established hospitality brands around the world.�

Kondraschow announced the following key staff members, who will report to him:

Ben Ancher, a 30-year hotel industry veteran, was named vice president, franchise business and operations. Based in Brasschaat, Belgium, he is responsible for Cendant Hotel Group�s managed and franchised operations with a focus on quality assurance, owner relationships, training, brand standards and recruitment.  He formerly was Ramada International�s vice president of franchise business and operations, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).  He also served InterContinental Hotels Group for more than a decade in positions of increasing responsibility.

Daniel Dannenmann was named vice president, QA, standards and organizational development.  Based in Parsippany, he is responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies and programs that support brand standards as well as for identifying new opportunities in training and quality assurance.  Dannenmann had served Ramada International since 1998, most recently as vice president, global training, quality assurance and operational brand standards.  Prior to that, he was responsible for operations and franchise services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Olivier Dupont, a 20-year industry veteran, was named vice president, development, EMEA and Asia Pacific, based in Noire-Atlantique, France.  He is responsible for all aspects of the region�s development process, including development finance, feasibility analysis, negotiations and client relationships.  Dupont, who joined Ramada International in 2001 as senior manager, operations, was promoted to director of development, EMEA, in 2003.  Prior to Ramada International, Dupont served Holiday Inns International for three years as a franchise services manager.

Khirstie Myles was named vice president, architecture, design and construction, based in London.  She is responsible for providing architectural, design and construction support for new construction and conversion hotels and enforcing Cendant�s related standards.  Myles had served Ramada International since 1999 as vice president, architecture, design and construction, and is credited with establishing its architecture, design and construction team.  Prior to that, she worked for InterContinental Hotels Group for four years as an architect and design manager in Europe and the Middle East.

Michael Schiff, a 15-year veteran of the industry who most recently served Cendant Hotel Group as vice president of international strategy and development, was named vice president, strategic planning and international administration, based in Parsippany.  He is responsible for managing the transition and integration of Ramada International into the Cendant Hotel Group.  He joined Cendant in 1996 as director of development financing for the Wingate® brand.

Stephen Young was named vice president, development, China, Japan, Korea.  Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for all aspects of the region�s development process, including development finance, feasibility analysis, negotiations and client relationships.  Young joined Ramada International in 2001 as director of China operations and development and in 2003 was promoted to vice president of Asia Pacific operations and development.  Prior to that, he worked for InterContinental Hotels Group for four years as chief operating officer, Greater China, and regional vice president, China, Taiwan, Macau.

Belinda Atkins was named director of multiunit development.  Based in London, she is responsible for all aspects of the development process relating to the conversion, merger or acquisition of multiunit hotel portfolios, specifically finance, strategic planning, feasibility analysis, negotiations, client and vendor relationships.  Atkins previously served Cendant Hotel Group as director of operations for its direct franchising business in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  Prior to joining Cendant, she held senior management positions with Häagen-Dazs Cafés UK and Pillsbury Bakeries and Foodservice.
