Arthur Nathan Appointed Senior Vice President-Chief
Human Resources Officer for Wynn Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV. (Dec. 6, 2004) � Human Resources expert Arthur Nathan continues his longstanding working relationship with Steve Wynn in the role of Senior Vice President-Chief Human Resources Officer for Wynn Las Vegas, the highly anticipated luxury resort opening on the Las Vegas Strip in April 2005. 
 
In his role, Nathan will oversee the process of hiring the 9,000 person workforce and develop and supervise all pre- and post-opening Human Resources plans, programs, and processes. 

Nathan has had an extensive career working for Wynn in the Human Resources and gaming industries. As Former Director of Personnel and Labor Relations at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and Vice President of Human Resources for The Mirage and the Bellagio casino resorts, Nathan was responsible for developing and maintaining effective Employee Relations, visionary Human Resources Information Systems, and Safety plans.  

Today, Nathan is Chairman of the Nevada Governor's Workforce Investment Board and serves on the board of the Human Resources Certification Institute. In the past, Nathan has been actively involved with organizations such as the Society for Human Resources Management, the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association, and the Southern Nevada Culinary & Bartenders Training Trust Board. 

Wynn Las Vegas is located on the site of the former Desert Inn adjacent to the Sands Convention Center and across from the Fashion Show mall.
