A Total of 250 New and 1,250 Returning Exhibitors
Set for the  89th Annual International
Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show

WHITE PLAINS, NY, September 29, 2004� Creative product debuts from hundreds of new and returning suppliers will be on display at the 89th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant ShowÒ (IH/M&RS), November 14-16, 2004, at New York City�s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

A total of 250 new and 1,250 returning exhibitors will offer a wide variety of dynamic products and services for the hospitality and foodservice industry.  Well-known industry suppliers participating for the first time in 2004 include Capel, Comcast, Crescent Duck Farm, Electrolux Professional, Granite & Marble Resources, Johnnie Walker, La Quinta Inns, Lather, Mascioni Hotel Collection, Melitta USA, Metal Urges, Microsoft, NXTV, Oregon Scientific, Royal-Pedic Mattress Co., Sara Lee Coffee & Tea, Stone Age Lighting, Surlean Foods, Taiko Enterprises, Turgla, and WiFiDirect..

Innovative, first-time products and services will be found in each of the Show�s five market sectors � Décor, Technology, Restaurant, Flavors and Essentials.  A new addition to these sectors in 2004 is the Luxury Product Collection � a focus area dedicated exclusively to showcasing premium products and services. This area also will feature new products designed for today�s progressive hotels and restaurants. Resources found in each segment will enhance the experiences of hotel and restaurant guests, and provide value-added efficiencies for today�s busy hospitality professional.  The following is a sampling of products scheduled to launch at the 2004 IH/M&RS:

Cintas Corp., Chicago, Ill. �The Fusion Shirt is a food service shirt that features soil release fabric, no static cling, and moisture control. It also is soft to the touch and comfortable to wear.

Dometic Corp., Elkhart, Ind. �The HiPro 4000 DV In-Room Refreshment Center features a unique clear view door, allowing all products to be visible. The item is available with pullout shelves or drawers for maximum flexibility.

Eagle Group, Clayton, Del. � Handsink with special MICROGARD antimicrobial protection, battery operated electronic faucet, trash receptacle, and nailbrush holder.

Godiva Chocolatier Inc., Reading, Pa. �Designed for the sugar-conscious connoisseur, new chocolate bars feature full flavor and taste in a sugar-free version. Bars are available in dark chocolate, regular chocolate, and chocolate with almonds.

Jieda U.S.A. Inc., Brooklyn, N.Y. �Digital Auto-Temp Hair Dryer has five heat settings, 1500 watts of drying power, and LCD time and temperature display.

Sealy Inc., Trinity, N.C. �The new Stearns & Foster Collection, which is Sealy�s ultra luxury hospitality sleep system, has new bedding technologies and materials to offer the guest a better night�s sleep.

TeleAdapt Inc., San Jose, Calif. �The DeskBridge product provides access to a wireless network for hotel guests who do not have a Wi-Fi Card, or when configuration of a Wi-Fi Card is not possible. The DeskBridge is fully plug-and-play with no driver installation, which eliminates software incompatibility while increasing guest usability and productivity.

The Softwear Group, Wichita, Kan. �The Attribute Inventory Manager allows properties to view room amenity inventories on computers.

The Vollrath Co. LLC, Sheboygan, Wis. �Double wall insulated decorative serving bowls provide the insulation to maintain proper food temperature, whether hot or cold. A satin finish interior also hides wear and scratches.

Tumaro�s Gourmet Tortillas, Los Angeles, Calif. �With just five net carbs, the new Low In Carbs tortillas are new snack options for those watching their weight. They are 94% fat free and are available in four flavors�multigrain, green onion, garden vegetable, and sour cream & salsa.

The 89th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show will run Saturday, November 13, through Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at New York City�s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.  Following a full-day of conference and networking activities on Saturday, November 13, the IH/M&RS will feature three days of exhibits from Sunday, November 14,  though Tuesday, November 16. The market presents some 1,500 hospitality industry suppliers and attracts approximately 45,000 in total trade attendance.
