Larry Brown Named General Manager of
The Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel

LAS VEGAS -- September 1, 2004 - Opening in January 2005, The Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel announces Larry Brown as general manager of the hotel. Brown�s responsibilities include directing hotel operations, sales and marketing efforts and revenue management as well as overseeing opening initiatives for the new hotel adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

A 30+ year veteran of the hospitality industry, Brown brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the property. He most recently served as vice president/hotel manager for the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. Under his direction, the 2,881-room hotel was awarded the Golf Key Elite Award. He also oversaw the $80 million renovation project at Gaylord Opryland. With a strong background in the hospitality business, he has also served as general manager at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashville and was instrumental in the restoration and reopening of The Warwick Hotel in Houston.

Slated as the largest non-gaming hotel in Nevada, The Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel offers an inconspicuous �off Strip� address allowing guests to be close to the action without the noise and distractions. Featuring 14 stories of sinfully spacious accommodations, the hotel boasts 548 rooms and 30 suites and more than 32,000 sq. ft. of meeting function space. All meeting rooms feature Wi Fi technology and ergonomic chairs, while �Meetings Masterminds� ensure that events run without a hitch.
