Daniel Craig Named General Manager
of Opus Hotel, Vancouver

Vancouver, British Columbia � September 4, 2004 - John deC. Evans, President of Trilogy Yaletown Development Corporation, the developer and owner of OPUS Hotel, is pleased to announce that effective September 4, 2004 Daniel Craig will assume the role of General Manager of this acclaimed and award-winning Vancouver property.

Craig brings a wealth of experience to his new position.  Since his first job in the hotel industry some fifteen years ago at Toronto�s Delta Chelsea Inn, he has worked for a total of eight major hotels, including the Harbour Castle Westin and the Sutton Place Hotel Toronto. 

Upon returning to Vancouver in 1990, Craig worked at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, holding positions as duty manager and sales manager, before taking a position as director of sales and marketing at the chain�s Palau Pacific Resort in Micronesia. After a short time in Micronesia, Craig left the hotel industry to work as area sales manager for Canadian Airlines International. 

In 1997 Craig joined Vancouver Film School as vice president, sales and marketing, where he was responsible for enrolment in the prestigious school�s programs in film, new media, acting, writing and corporate training. Craig left VFS in 2000 to write and to work as a marketing and communications consultant, where his client roster included Studio B Productions, Mercury Filmworks, Sheraton Suites Le Soleil and The Angus Reid Group. Prior to joining OPUS Hotel, where he served as director of sales and marketing since the opening in September 2002, Craig held the same position at the Metropolitan Hotel in Vancouver. 

A native of Vancouver, Daniel Craig has his Bachelor�s Degree in International Relations.  He is an accomplished writer whose work has appeared in The Globe and Mail as well as the National Post.
