Scott Vokey Appointed Vice President and General
Counsel, Noble House Hotels & Resorts

SEATTLE, WA (July 29, 2004) -- Noble House Hotels & Resorts announced today that it has appointed Scott Vokey to the position of vice president and general counsel.  In this role, Vokey is responsible for all Noble House legal matters.

"Scott is a welcome addition to the Noble House executive team," said Marc Pujalet, president and chief marketing officer, Noble House Hotels & Resorts.  "Scott's knowledge of the industry and his experience in the field will be put to good use as we embark on our next stage of company growth," added Pujalet.  "Scott also will play a key role in building and enhancing relationships with our partners, lenders and in the communities in which we own and operate our hotels and resorts."

Mr. Vokey joined Noble House in June 2004, and during his 20-year career has worked in both the public and private sectors, specializing in real estate, land use and environmental law.  Most recent prior to joining Noble House, Vokey served as director of private capital development and general counsel of Badgley, Phelps and Bell, Inc. as well as president of Badgley Funds.  Vokey also worked with Westin Hotels & Resorts as associate general counsel and director of the company's environmental health & safety program.   Additionally, Vokey served for ten years as a partner for the firm of Preston Gates & Ellis and chair of their environmental and land use department.

Mr. Vokey received his Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston, while also acting as Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law.  Mr. Vokey is a member of the Washington State, King County and American Bar Associations.  He is actively involved with the The Rotary Club of Seattle, a Trustee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Washington and Alaska, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Disability Fund.  Vokey resides in Seattle, Washington with his wife and two teenage sons.
