The 90-unit, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites opened in the Omaha, Nebraska area on July 7, 2004. The hotel was developed by SARA Associates LLC, and is conveniently located midway between Eppley Airfield and downtown Omaha at 2510 Abbott Plaza.

The Country Inn and Suites - Madison West opened on July 8, 2004, and features a mix of 83 guestrooms and suites, located in the Discovery Springs Office Park, at the interchange of University Avenue and the West Beltline Highway. The property is a joint venture between Livesey Companies, KHC, and other Madison area investors.

The most recent addition to the KHC portfolio is the Victorian Pines, a three-year old property that features 73 guestrooms and suites, day spa, and approximately 6,500 square feet of meeting space. This property is located in the historic resort town of Galena, Illinois, and is decorated and themed with the historic destination in mind. KHC also has a Courtyard by Marriott under development in Columbia, Missouri, and a Country Inn and Suites under development in St. Charles, Missouri.
