Hilton Hotels New Standard for Business Technology
in Hotels Aims to Be Consistent, Integrated
and Seamless

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - July 22, 2004 -- An Essential Set Of "Personal Performance Services" for the Traveling Business Professional Will Become Available at Hilton Hotels & Resorts Across North America by June 2005

In response to the ever-increasing pace of business today, Hilton Hotels & Resorts today announced a new standard for business technology in hotels. The Hilton Integrated Business Solution is a flexible and convenient collection of essential business amenities and services that are now available at all Hilton hotels across the U.S.

"The Hilton Integrated Business Solution has been designed for today's professionals on the go, whose demands to stay connected with clients and customers continue to become more of a challenge each and every day," said Jeffrey Diskin, senior vice president - brand management for Hilton Hotels & Resorts. "By providing a consistent, integrated and seamless standard of important business services at our Hilton hotels locations across North America, we can ensure that our loyal guests are rewarded with an environment that helps them conduct their business easier and more effectively than ever before."

The Hilton Integrated Business Solution consists of the following six service features:

As part of the Hilton Integrated Business Solution standard, all hotels will be required to have guestrooms and meeting rooms with high-speed Internet access in either a wired or wireless format. The brand is poised to meet this goal, with nearly 85% of the portfolio already offering wired or wireless high-speed Internet service.

Wireless Internet access points (or Wi-Fi hotspots) will be located throughout lobbies, lounges, restaurants and public areas of all Hilton hotels. By following a simple set of on-screen instructions from their Internet connection application, hotel guests will be able to surf wirelessly.

The service will be compatible with a variety of laptops and mobile devices -- including tablet PCs, PDAs, and cellular phones that are enabled with 802.11b technology and operate on Microsoft Windows, Macintosh OS, Unix and Linux operating systems.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced that they have selected STSN as the preferred provider.

The 24-Hour, Self-Service Business Center will provide guests with a comfortable, self-service office environment that has been specially designed with the traveling business professional in mind. Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced that they have selected LogicLink (dba Business Automation Center @Hotel) as their preferred provider.

Each 24-Hour, Self-Service Business Center includes individual workstations, document printing and copying services (including access to remote guest printing requests) in both color and black and white, essential office supplies and PCs equipped with the most popular business productivity programs, high-speed Internet access and even CD burners.

Hilton also announced that they have selected PrinterOn(R) as their preferred hotel remote guest printing service. All Hilton hotels will provide this unique technology to guests through the hotel's high-speed Internet access network.

By connecting their notebook computer or supported mobile/wireless device to the hotel's high-speed Internet service and following a simple set of on-screen instructions from their preferred Internet connection application, guests will be able to send their documents, spreadsheets and presentations securely to the hotel's new 24-hour self service business center without special cables, drivers or technical support.

Also in the 24-Hour, Self-Service Business Center, Hilton guests will now have the ability to pack, weigh, label and ship packages anywhere in the U.S. any time of the day or night. The center will carry a selection of packing supplies and materials (including overnight delivery envelopes, small and medium-sized boxes) to make shipping a breeze.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced that they have selected the United States Postal Service(R) (USPS) as our preferred provider for mailing and shipping needs and, an approved licensed vendor of the USPS, as the provider for PC postage.

To round out the technology and service offerings, all guestrooms at Hilton are offering spacious work desks, comfortable chairs, task lighting and power/communications outlets at desk height to ensure guests can be as productive as possible where it's needed most.

Fees for Internet access as well as mail and shipping services are set by each hotel locally, and can be charged to a credit card, or very soon for more convenience, to a hotel guest's room folio through the Hilton brand's unique, proprietary OnQ(TM) property management system. Remote guest printing services are complimentary, when accessed through the hotel's high-speed Internet service.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is the flagship brand of the Hilton Family of Hotels. During the brand's legacy, this upscale, full-service collection of hotels and resorts has grown to include some of the world's most renowned places to stay. Team members at Hilton Hotels & Resorts pride themselves on a passion for delivering a satisfying experience to the most discriminating of travelers and reflect commitment and support to the local culture and community in which they reside.
