MIAMI (July 1st, 2004) The chic, stylish and much anticipated Conrad
Miami opens its doors today.
Starting with its dramatic architecture, designed by firms Kohn, Peterson and Fox, the Conrad Miami is unconventionally stylish. Each of the 203 guest rooms and 116 suites is finely appointed with contemporary furniture and feature a pillow menu, two phone lines, personalized stationery, 27-inch flat-screen TV and DVD player and a separate bathtub and shower plus a bath service menu in conjunction with Spa Conrad. The hotel also offers complimentary Hi-Fi and Wi-Fi throughout the building. Traces of natures elements, earth, fire and water, offer a pristine ambience in the hotels Spanish-Asian influenced restaurant, Atrio, and steps away sits the sultry 40-seat bar, Noir, affectionately referred to as the Dark Bar. Both areas offer cascading views of Miamis skyline and a smart, modish atmosphere. On the outside deck, two tennis courts and a hot tub flank the large rooftop pool. Inside, the luxury spa and fitness center offers Sonia Dakar-trained specialists and Life Fitness® exercise equipment. On the threshold of the future of business travel, the hotel also offers a state-of-the-art business center with meetings facilities equipped with plasma screen TVs, ergonomic chairs and a meetings concierge. I am very grateful to hotel partners and leaders in Miami for welcoming Conrad to the area. We know that the Conrad Miami is set in a competitive market and we are pleased to showcase our exceptional amenities and service. We believe in our unique and fresh style, personal service and attention to fine details. For instance, we offer luxury service which includes butler service on executive floors, and dedicated Meetings Concierge to provide any required business related services. adds General Manager Robert Thrailkill. Located in the heart of Miamis financial district in an innovatively designed structure of concave glass and steel, the Conrad Miami is destined to become a recognized icon on the Miami skyline.
