2004-- StayOnline�s new wireless High Speed Internet Access service at
the Dayton Airport Hotel has made a big difference with customers who visit
the hotel, either by choice or by chance. The hotel, located a stone�s
throw from the Dayton, Ohio Airport, is often a voucher night�s stay for
stranded airline passengers.
�Shortly after we got the service installed, a gentleman came into the hotel with a very long face. It seems he was a displaced airline passenger who was sent here to stay the night because his flight was cancelled,� said Dayton Airport Hotel General Manager Larry Wheeler. �As soon as he saw the familiar StayOnline signage at our front desk, his face lit up. He actually told me that the fact that we had StayOnline just turned his visit from a disappointing one to a potentially very productive one.� Wheeler says he�s had nothing but positive reactions since StayOnline�s solution was installed two months ago. �We�ve have been pleasantly surprised not only at customer reaction, but also at the volume of guests who are using the service. It has surpassed our expectations,� he added. StayOnline has completed the installation of its wireless HSIA solution in five hotel properties managed by CWB Property Management; with four others located in Ohio and Michigan. �In our case, StayOnline fit the bill perfectly because we operate within multiple hotel brands and franchises and we found that they are approved vendors for all of our hotels,� said Michael G. Miller, CIO of CWB Properties. �In addition, they have been in the wireless arena the longest and gave us the most professional presentation,� he added. �Their sales director also visited several of our properties before they even started their proposal and provided us with some good ideas up front.
