PLAINSBORO, N.J. - Aug. 5, 2004 -- Merrill Lynch Conference & Training Center has been renamed Harrison Conference Center & Hotel -- Princeton Forrestal Center upon its sale to 900 Scudders Mill Road LLC, a private investment group based in Connecticut. ARAMARK Harrison Lodging will continue to operate and market the successful facility, as it has since its opening in 1986.

In addition to the name change, which more closely aligns the property with the ARAMARK Harrison brand, the facility will undergo an expansion of meeting space and enhancement of public areas. The program includes the conversion of 20,000 square feet of office space into 25 additional meeting rooms.

"With its ideal location in the heart of New Jersey's pharmaceutical, high-tech and financial business corridor, the Harrison Conference Center & Hotel has tremendous growth potential," said Rory Loberg, president of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging. "It is already one of the most

"We are delighted that we will continue to offer meeting services to Merrill Lynch and the many other corporations whose executives have chosen this award-winning facility for their meetings over the past 18 years," noted Bruce R. Smith, managing & regional director of Harrison Conference Center & Hotel. "And we look forward to introducing ourselves to meeting and event planners and to business and leisure travelers we've not yet reached."

Located midway between Manhattan and Philadelphia, Harrison Conference Center & Hotel is convenient to all points in the Northeast. The 337-room property offers a total learning environment in an idyllic, wooded setting with a six-acre private lake. The center's existing 37,000-square-foot meeting facility is approved by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). Among its singular features is a smaller, self-contained Private Executive Center for private, high level meetings. The center is also distinguished by its four restaurants and a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational options.

Offering a collection of the world's most effective environments for learning, communication and personal growth, ARAMARK operates more than 50 conference centers, corporate training centers and specialty hotels in educational environments. Each is strategically located close to leading business destinations. The company supports the stringent standards of IACC and harnesses the power and expertise of its founding entities to expand its contributions to the industry.
