multi-million transformation, the Doubletree Hotel & Conference St. Louis will provide citizens and businesses of the greater St. Louis area with a new and refreshed hotel that will match the high level of service that we already provide our guests, said Gary Ranchel, hotel general manager.  Phase one of our renovation project, which was completed last year, brought significant improvements to our guestrooms, the introduction of a newly refreshed restaurant and the installation of wireless high-speed Internet access throughout our hotel.  With the completion of this current renovation phase, which includes upgrades to our conference center, select public space and hotel infrastructure, our hotel team members are excited to share a completely new Doubletree experience with the worlds travelers.

The main project in phase two of the Doubletree renovation is updating the 20,000 square-foot, IACC-approved conference center, which will feature new carpeting, wall finishes, artwork and lighting as well as a new falcon-style table in the conference centers Great Room.  In addition, a new state-of-the-art business center will be available for use by conference center guests.  An enhanced sound system and a new inventory of portable audiovisual equipment will round out the improvements to the conference center.  This dedicated conference center complements the hotels 15,000 square feet of additional event and exhibit space, including a 6,000-square-foot ballroom, which can easily accommodate groups of up to 600.

Located within 20 minutes of both St. Louis airports at the gateway to the Midwest, the Doubletree Hotel & Conference Center St. Louis provides a unique corporate retreat in the heart of the country.  Each of the hotels 223 spacious guest rooms provides both the comforts of home with the conveniences of the office.  Amenities include wireless internet access in all guestrooms as well as two telephones, one with dual ports.  Executive suites located on the top floor are beautifully appointed with separate sitting parlors and sleeping rooms, wet bars and a variety of upgraded amenities and services.  Recreation is also a significant component of the hotel & conference center which features 9 indoor and 6 outdoor tennis courts as well as racquetball courts and indoor and outdoor pools.
