    David Desforges Appointed Senior Vice President
Product Planning for Trendwest Resorts


REDMOND, Wash. - July 29, 2004 – Trendwest Resorts, Inc., one of the world’s leading vacation ownership companies, recently appointed David Desforges to the position of Senior Vice President Product Planning.

In his new role with Trendwest, Desforges will oversee the long-term planning and acquisition of real estate to support the company’s on-going efforts to expand the number of WorldMark resort and Trendwest sales office locations. 

“David’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry will be an asset to Trendwest,” stated Don Harrill, Trendwest president and CEO.  “He will provide a vital component to our senior management team with his ability to plan strategically for the expansion of our future WorldMark resort locations.”

With over 20 years in the real estate and property acquisition industry, Desforges brings extensive experience in both strategic planning and product development to the company. He has held several senior management positions with companies such as Hilton Grand Vacations Company, PDW Development Inc. and Marriott Corporation.
