| VANCOUVER, BC, August 24th, 2004 � It is with great pleasure that The
Sutton Place Hotel announces the appointment of Diane Dillon, a former
Sutton Place family member, with extensive event management and leadership
experience, to the position of Director of Catering and Conference Services.
�The Sutton Place Vancouver is truly an exemplary hotel. I am thrilled to be back with the Sutton Family and to be working with such a talented and enthusiastic team�, Dillon says. Her hotel operations background includes an array of assignments including, Chef Concierge at Le Meridien Vancouver, opening Director of Operations at the Pan Pacific Lodge Whistler and the Director of Social Catering at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC. In addition, Diane has spent many years as a volunteer with BC�s Children�s Hospital including 6 years as Chair of the Tourism and Hospitality Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which helped raise over $180,000.00 for the children of B.C. Dillon holds a Diploma in Hospitality from BCIT, as well as degree in business and communications from Simon Fraser University. She is also a founder of the Vancouver chapter of Les Clefs d�Or and honorary lifetime member of the parent international organization. |

In
her new role, Diane will direct the overall catering and conference operations
for this AAA Five Diamond rated property. Diane has spent her career
in the upscale hospitality industry, including 12 years in management positions
with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and 7 years with The Sutton Place
Hotel when it was Le Meridien Hotel Vancouver.
