The hotel offers a variety of signature poolside treats, such as tangerine scented cooled towels and an ongoing supply of fresh native fruit, served while guests bask in the sun. Luxury facilities include two pools, a swim-up bar, a rooftop Jacuzzi, sundeck, fitness center, tennis court and a full range of spa and health treatments.

“The Ceiba del Mar is an outstanding example of an independent luxury resort,” says Richard Lewis, managing director of Summit Hotels & Resorts. “It scored extremely well and combines a fantastic location and top-class facilities with a staff that understands the needs of the guests.”

Lewis continues, “The customer service is exceptional and the guest facilities are faultless. With 124 bedrooms, there’s a real feeling of intimacy and friendliness that is sometimes difficult to find in larger hotels. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.”
