| San Francisco. August 11, 2004. PKF Consulting, the national
hotel and real estate consulting firm, has established a new regional office
in Bozeman, Montana. Chris Kraus, Vice President from the San Francisco
office of PKF Consulting, has been chosen to head the new practice, according
to Thomas E. Callahan, Chief Executive Officer-West, of PKF Consulting.
"With increasing opportunities for us in the Mountain States, we're pleased to launch this new office, and Bozeman represents a strategic location for us," Callahan said. "Given Mr. Kraus' extensive experience in the resort, ski, golf, and vacation ownership industries, his appointment to the Bozeman office represents a natural fit to service the region's emerging growth in these leisure industries.� Chris Kraus is a Vice President with PKF Consulting and brings nearly 15 years of hospitality industry experience in both consulting and hands-on operational capacities. Before joining PKF Consulting, Kraus spent six years working as a General Manager for Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. a national hotel management company where he gained valuable experience managing properties under the Radisson, Holiday Inn, Hilton, and Marriott brands. Kraus has spent the last eight years in the San Francisco office of PKF Consulting. Kraus has directed and completed hundreds of consulting projects, involving both the public and private sectors, throughout the U.S. and Mexico. He has worked for the industry's leading lenders, developers, chains and management companies and has dealt with all aspects of operations, development, and financing. Kraus holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in California, Wyoming, and Montana.
