today that room night growth for the European region increased 16.2%, outperforming
the worldwide hotel average growth of 9.5% in the first quarter of 2004
versus the first quarter of 2003.
The average daily rate (ADR) for European hotels in the first quarter was $169.63, showing a 12.2% improvement over the same quarter last year. The results were compiled from TravelCLICK's comprehensive database, which is the exclusive source of hotel industry electronic distribution data from the Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan, and Sabre GDSs.
