HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII -May 3, 2004 - Outrigger Hotels & Resorts has added another property to its prestigious Outrigger Condominium Collection. The Outrigger Luana Waikiki is a luxurious 217-room condominium hotel boasting the most stylish accommodations and dramatic ocean and mountain views found anywhere in Waikiki.

More than $11 million in renovations and room refurbishment are nearing completion to give this 17-story property the most livable and tastefully appointed condominium hotel suites in the state. Renovations to the property, formerly the Waikiki Terrace Hotel, will be fully completed in July.

Located at 2045 Kalakaua Avenue, the hotel is bordered by Fort DeRussy Park, a 66-acre greenbelt that affords every floor spectacular ocean, city, park and mountain views. Guests have a pleasant walk to the beach through the landscaped flower gardens under the shade of giant monkey pod trees that fill the park. Extensive dining, shopping and entertainment in the heart of Waikiki are also within immediate walking distance, further enhancing the property's

"We are very excited to add this spectacular property to the Outrigger Condominium Collection," said T.J. Oesterling, vice president of Outrigger's Condominium Collection. "These are some of the most tastefully appointed accommodations in Hawaii and at the greatest parkside location in Waikiki.  Our guests and travel partners will be absolutely astounded with the quality and stylish appointments that went into each unit. When you add the beautiful mountain, park and ocean views, and its proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping, you have one of the finest properties on the market."

The entire hotel embraces a nostalgic design theme of vintage Waikiki with tropical colors and textures integrated into all wood furnishings, artwork, fabrics and appointments, including custom designed bronze hula girl and Duke Kahanamoku surfer lamps that accent rooms.

Accommodations are comprised of 186 studio suites, 29 one-bedroom suites and two spacious two-bedroom suites. All units have accessorized kitchens, kitchenettes or wet bars with various appliances for entertaining or long-term living comfort. Other amenities include open lanais, in-room safes, and residential cable programming. The interior design is a most impressive collection of island-style furnishings with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, onyx backsplashes, travertine stone flooring and Hawaiiana artwork by Oahu artist, Sandra Blazel.

The renovated recreation level includes a 300 square foot fitness room fully equipped with the latest weight-training, stretching and cardio-vascular equipment. The landscaped 1,200 square foot pool area features quartzite stone flooring, barbeque grills, cabanas and fresh water swimming pool displaying a hibiscus flower mosaic. On-property laundry and tour activities desk are also available. A state of the art security camera system was also added during the renovations.

The property is owned by Waikiki Terrace LLC, a Honolulu-based limited liability company whose members include affiliates of National Housing Corporation, Brian Anderson and Max Holdings, Inc. Units are being sold by Malama Realty, LLC.

With the addition of the Outrigger Luana Waikiki, Outrigger's Condominium Collection consists of 11 premium condominium resorts on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii's Big Island.
