May 22, 2004 - Nicole La Valette, former General
Manager of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA), has joined Wyndham
Sunshine Suites� sales and marketing team with primary responsibility for
corporate and government sales and marketing. Originally from Germany,
Nicole has spent the last 3.5 years in the Cayman Islands leading the CITA
in all business areas including government and industry advocacy, marketing
and events, tourism industry development and membership services. At the
beginning of her employment with the CITA Nicole assisted with the amalgamation
of various private sector tourism associations into the now well-established
and successful CITA.
Nicole�s varied background includes
product development, marketing and event management positions with the
private and public sector tourism organizations as well as a position as
marketing and tourism lecturer at a tertiary education facility in New
Zealand. Nicole holds a Masters of Commerce from Auckland University in
New Zealand and attended the University of Hawaii�s Executive Development
Institute for Tourism in the School of Travel Industry Management in 2000.

months, after managing Little Cayman Beach Resort for two years states;
