Keith Battaglia Appointed Director of Sales for
The Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS, April 2004�Benchmark Hospitality has announced the appointment of Keith Battaglia as director of sales for The Northland Inn, a hotel and conference center featuring 231 recently renovated suites located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, near Minneapolis. Fred Julius, general manager, made the announcement.

Keith Battaglia is a veteran conference center sales professional, and brings years of experience to his new position at The Northland Inn, many in leadership positions. He has been with the Benchmark organization for the past 13 years of his career.

Previously, Mr. Battaglia was director of sales at The Chattanoogan, a Benchmark property located in the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Battaglia has held additional

positions of increasing responsibility within the Benchmark organization, including being a part of the opening sales teams for the World Trade Institute Conference Center and JP Morgan 23 Wall Street, both in New York City. He was also a member of the opening sales team at the North Maple Inn, located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Battaglia began his hospitality sales career at Saddle Ridge of Beaver Creek, Colorado, which was managed by Benchmark at the time.

Mr. Battaglia earned his Bachelors' Degree from Boston University with a major in International Relations and a minor in Business Administration and Spanish. He is an active member of Meeting Planners International.
