to the Bottom Line; Hires Chief Marine Officer

.

PARADISE ISLAND, The Bahamas - May 3, 2004 -- Kerzner International Limited today announced that Frank Murru will join the Company as Chief Marine Officer effective May 17, 2004. In this newly created position, Murru will be responsible for planning, designing and managing the Company's marine habitats, interactive marine animal experiences and aquatic-themed attractions. Murru will report directly to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Butch Kerzner and is expected to play an integral role in the planned expansion projects: Phase III of Atlantis, Paradise Island and Atlantis, The Palm.

Prior to joining the Company, Murru was Vice President and General Manager of Discovery Cove, an exclusive, reservations-only water theme park that is adjacent to Sea World in Orlando, Florida. Discovery Cove and Sea World are owned by Anheuser Busch, Inc. Murru was involved in the development of Discovery Cove, and for the past six years, has managed this water theme park.

"We are pleased to have a person with Frank's expertise, knowledge and success join our team to take on the major responsibility of developing our water business. As we continue to broaden and enhance the Atlantis brand through our water attractions, Frank will bring tremendous experience and leadership to the planning and execution of our proposed expansion projects on Paradise Island and in Dubai. We are focused on developing our water park business and we are planning to develop a 'day visitor' program, with interactive animal experiences, and expect to have approximately 5,000 people visit these water-based attractions daily. With Frank's background, we believe the water park business can become a more significant contributor to the bottom line," commented Butch Kerzner.

The water theme park is expected to be the centerpiece of the Atlantis brand. The Company is planning a significant expansion to Atlantis, Paradise Island's existing water-themed attractions, including interactive marine animal experiences that will be ideally suited to the world's largest manmade marine habitat. In Dubai, Atlantis, The Palm, the Company is in the preliminary planning stages of a major hotel and water-based attractions that is expected to be the largest water-theme park in the region and will offer an array of water slides as well as one of the world's largest marine habitats, a snorkel trail and various other interactive marine experiences.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the Atlantis brand and to develop and enhance one of the most exciting aquatic adventures in the world," said Murru. "My goal is to work with the Company's development team and focus on the development of the business model for the water park projects. We will strive to make each guest's experience unique and one that we expect will drive further visitation to the Company's businesses in the future," he added.

Murru has more than 30 years of experience, including an extensive background in water park operations and theme parks as well as an intimate background in zoology and marine habitats. He is an active member of the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums and has served as an advisory board member for Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Management Council. He has authored more than 40 scientific papers on topics ranging from aquarium procedures to fish hematology to the feeding and reproduction of sharks, and is a former member of the board of directors of the American Elasmobranch Society (devoted to the study of sharks and related marine life), for which he served as president in 1992-93. Murru started his career in 1974 at the prestigious John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. He is a member of the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums, American Fisheries Society, American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists and International Association of Aquatic Animal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Bowling Green State University and a master of business administration from the University of Central Florida.
