Caroline B. Wilsey Appointed Director of Conference
Services for Cheyenne Mountain Resort,
Colorado Springs, Colorado

THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS, May 2004 �. Benchmark Hospitality has announced the appointment of Caroline B. Wilsey as director of conference services for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a hotel and conference center featuring 316 guestrooms and suites located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Laura Neumann, vice president and general manager, made the announcement.
 
Ms. Wilsey brings over a decade of senior-level hospitality expertise as well as extensive knowledge of the Colorado Springs market to her new role at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.  Previously she was sales manager for Wyndham Hotels International at the 311-guestroom Wyndham Colorado Springs property.  Wilsey gained extensive experience in conference services as director of catering & conference services for the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center and Executive Meeting Center, a 496-guestroom property located in Alexandria, Virginia.  She held the same position at the Westin Cincinnati Hotel

and the Westin Charlotte Hotel of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Wilsey gained additional hospitality experience in positions held at the Sheraton Hotel North Charleston-Convention Center of Charleston, South Carolina, and the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel of Norfolk, Virginia. 

Caroline Wilsey has served on numerous task force committees for Westin and Sheraton Hotels.  She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of General Studies degree, and is past president of the Ohio University Alumni Association.  Wilsey is a resident of Colorado Springs where her is husband is deputy director of staff for the Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base.
