SynXis Enhances its Commitment to Account & Revenue Management Services with New Hires Worldwide
Eric Mason promoted to Vice President of Operations to Lead the Team

MCLEAN, VA- June 8, 2004 - SynXis, a leading provider of reservation services and technology for the hospitality industry, has assembled a team of industry experts to ensure their customers are receiving every opportunity to maximize their revenue through all distribution channels.  To complement their widely used reservation technology, SynXis has expanded key account management staff effectively reducing the ratio of accounts to service managers and added additional revenue-enhancing services such as consortia management programs, web-site design and Internet marketing.

“We have seen our customers’ business evolve to a very complicated web of distribution channels, extranets and electronic marketing,” said Eric Mason who was recently promoted to Vice President of Operations for SynXis.  “We realize our customers look to us to be the experts in reservation management and distribution.  To that end we are focusing our service team on educating our customers and ensuring they are aware of every opportunity to drive more business to their hotel.”  Eric has relocated to the Denver office where the majority of the operations team is based.

Recent hires include:

Iilonka Bagi, senior account manager based in the Amsterdam office.  Ilaria has extensive experience in the travel industry and during her career she worked for several travel agencies, tour operators and consolidators. Before joining SynXis she worked as a training instructor and account executive for Worldspan.

Andrew Smith, account manager based in the Denver office.  Andrew has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years where he has worked for Pegasus Solutions Inc. in their GDS/Electronic Distribution Department.  Andrew was most recently held the position of Hotel Product Manager for Cheap Tickets.

Jolene Bader, account manager based in the Denver office.    Jolene’s 15 years in the hospitality industry began at resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico.  She speaks fluent Spanish and in 2002, she earned the designation of Registered Resort Professional (RRP) from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).

Ilaria Triggiani, senior account manager based in the Amsterdam office.  Ilaria’s career in the hotel industry started 15 years ago working for Intercontinental Hotels Group in the Global Distribution operations center for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA).  Ilaria has also been very active within HEDNA including holding the position of Chairperson for the EMEA chapter. 

Chris Flear, account manager based in the Denver office.  Chris has 16 years of experience in the travel industry, the majority on the travel agent and GDS side.  Before joining SynXis she was a strategic distribution manager with Sceptre. 

Adam Burleson, consortia program manager based in Dallas.  Adam’s ten years of industry experience started at the property level before working as an account executive for Lexington Services.  He was most recently the marketing and brand revenue manager for TravelCLICK Houston.
