to announce the executive appointment of Mr Philip Ommen, Director of Sales
Philip Ommen joined Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing in June 2004.
Formerly from Traders Hotel Singapore, Philip moved on to join Shangri-La Jakarta, where, as Director of Sales, he was responsible for re-building the business, principally in the areas of corporate business and redeveloping the MICE segment.
With Philip's proven track record of high energy, motivation, team-building and sheer passion for results, his past 15 years experience in the hospitality industry will indeed prove to be a true asset to the Hotel.
In his appointment, Philip will report to Mr Des Pugson, General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel (and also Senior Vice President, Operations, Asia – Millennium & Copthorne International Limited) and be responsible for all sales and marketing management of the Hotel.
