The hotel is within walking distance of the Saratoga Springs City Center and the historic downtown.

Saratoga Springs is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Main Street program, dedicated to the revitalization of classic American hometowns and city centers, and was named one of the Trust's “Distinctive Destinations.” In addition to the Victorian grandstand still in use at the Saratoga Race Course, and featured in the movie ”Seabiscuit,” the town includes 900 buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  Visitors to Saratoga Springs in July enjoy a full range of arts events and summer festivities, even before the 136th racing season starts on July 28th. The Lake George Opera at Saratoga season starts July 3rd and the New York City Ballet opens its summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on July 6th.
