In December 2003 Encore acquired its first of 4 hotels, a Fairfield Inn from Musselman Hotels.  In January of this year Encore Enterprises completed the acquisition of a Fairfield Inn, a Fairfield Inn and Suites, and a TownePlace Suites by Marriott. These hotels were located in Kentucky and Indiana. The acquisition of the Ramada Ltd. and conversion to a Fairfield Inn and Suites will be Encore�s third Marriott hotel in Texas.

Encore Capital Group is pleased to have placed the equity for this acquisition for Encore Enterprise with one of its private equity sources. Encore Capital Group has been instrumental in providing acquisition targets, debt and equity for the expansion of the company. Encore Capital has recently placed $18.8 million of debt financing for its clients with in the last three months.

Pineapple Management Services, Inc has been awarded a long term management contract for the hotel. Glenn Pedersen, President of Pineapple, said �Our plan is to immediately close the hotel and initiate a renovation that will take approximately 60 days and cost over $700,000. The renovation will include installation of free wireless internet access, complete re-design of the lobby, breakfast room, meeting room and, front desk area, guestroom drapes and sheers, carpeting, bedspreads, ergonomic chair, upholstered seating, vinyl wall covering, and hallway carpeting and vinyl wall covering, as well as the addition of a Business Library and Market Express offering limited food and beverage service.�
