Colorado Springs, CO – June 9, 2004 – The Antlers Hotel has extended its hospitality expertise with the addition of three new employees joining the management team: Miguel Martin, Food and Beverage Director; Anne Pratt, Director of Catering and Rebecca Way, Assistant Front Desk Manager.

Miguel Martin has spent 20 years refining his restaurant and management experience.  Most recently, he worked for Specialty Restaurants Corporation in Denver , where he increased the level of customer service and the quality of the menu.  Martin plans to use his ingenuity to develop new menus, focus on customer service and food quality as well as train and mentor his staff of 150 employees, including managers and supervisors.  “The management team has a vision for the Antlers Hotel and I am excited to continue and improve upon the hotel’s tradition of quality, history and loyalty,” said Martin.  “The changes at the hotel will impress our guests and the community as we strive to reach four-star status.”

The Antlers Hotel will experience several changes over the coming months, including a brand change and a multi-million dollar renovation project.  “The Antlers Hotel is a historic landmark in downtown Colorado Springs and the changes we have planned will only improve the image and quality of service envisioned by General Palmer when he first opened the hotel in 1883,” said Larry Vitagliano, co-owner and Managing Director of the Antlers Hotel.  “By hiring quality, experienced employees like Miguel, Anne and Rebecca, the hotel will continue to move closer to our goals.”
