Denver, CO. — April 1, 2004 —Richfield Hospitality, Inc. assumes management today of the one-year-old Hilton Garden Inn in San Leandro, Calif. The property, owned by San Mateo-based Amin Group, is located just minutes from Oakland International Airport and 30 minutes outside of San Francisco.

Mike Amin, managing partner of the Amin Group, said because his company is diversifying away from management to focus more on real estate investment, Richfield was brought on board to oversee the daily operations, reduce operating expenses and drive revenue.
“As the economy remains a national problem, we are challenged locally with increasing average daily rate,” Amin said. “Occupancy seems to be stabilizing and even increasing, while rate continues to suffer due to softness of the marketplace. It’s a sign of the times.
