Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show Set
for April 14-15, 2004; Anticipating 400 Suppliers
and 4,000 Attendees
April 6, 2004 - Debuting a new venue and spring date pattern, the Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show® (LVIHRS) promises to be one of the best acts in Las Vegas, April 14 15, 2004, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.  The LVIHRS will provide a full package for tradeshow participants from innovative products and services from more than 400 suppliers, to cutting-edge seminars and not-to-be-missed networking opportunities.

Many LVIHRS exhibitors use the Show as a vehicle to launch new products and services, making it a resource for hoteliers and restaurateurs seeking innovative resources.  Industry-leading suppliers participating in the 2004 edition include both long-standing exhibitors Assa Abloy, G.A. Braun, Coca Cola, Courtesy Products, Ecolab, MICROS, Oneida Foodservice, Sara Lee, Marietta, New Chef Fashion, Picture Source, Sealy and Walco and newcomers to the Show DGV International, Heilman Associates, Maryland Match, Michaels Cookies, Montrose Hanger, Peregrine Furniture and Silver Lining.

Two keynote addresses both of which are geared toward hotel and restaurant executives will highlight the seminar program.  The Opening Keynote, moderated by Nevada Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt, and featuring Regynald Washington, chairman of the National Restaurant Association, and Dieter Huckestein, chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, will focus on issues within the travel sector today.  The other keynote, featuring leading executives from both the lodging and restaurant industries, will address the state of the hospitality industry overall.  Seven additional programs will cover revenue, diversity, security, customer service, staffing and career opportunities. All seminars are free with an LVIHRS badge.

The 2004 LVIHRS marks the fourth event produced under a partnership between the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association (NH&LA), Nevada Restaurant Association (NRA) and the owners of the 88-year old New York City-based International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show® (IH/M&RS): the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC) and the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSH&TA). LVIHRS is managed by GLM.

The 25th annual LVIHRS will feature 400 domestic and international suppliers and will attract an anticipated 4,000 attendees.
