Jason Greene Named Executive Chef,
The Kehoe House Inn, Savannah, Georgia

Savannah, Georgia � (April 12, 2004) � The Kehoe House Historic Inn, A Kessler Collection property is pleased to announce Jason Greene as executive chef.  In this position Jason is responsible for providing breakfast to guest, overall functions of food and beverage, catering sales as well as providing culinary demonstrations.
 
�We are very excited to have Jason as our executive chef, he has a great deal of experience and talent as a chef and has many new ideas for the Kehoe House,� states Jeff Carcara, corporate director of food and beverage for The Kessler Collection.  Jason prepares daily gourmet breakfast, for the afternoon tea he prepares pastries and tea sandwiches followed by signature nightly hors d�oeuvres.
In addition, Jason oversees food and beverage operations for the Kehoe�s full service catering department.  The Kehoe House has a variety of venues for weddings, receptions and meetings including the Kehoe Loft, the Kehoe Boardroom, the Davenport House Garden and Columbia Square.
 
Previously, Jason worked as a sous chef at the historic AAA Four-Diamond Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, a sister property.  While at the Casa Monica, Jason was the Chef de cuisine in charge for breakfast and lunch service including banquets.  He was also the owner and executive chef and lunch service including banquets.  He was also the owner and executive chef for Artisan Catering in Palm Coast, Florida.  During this time, he developed and designed menus for the 30-seat café and catering clientele. 

Jason also managed all aspects of the business operation including purchasing, catering proposals, catering event planning and development.  Prior to this, he spent several years catering in the Palm Beach and Naples area.  A native of New England, Jason has extensive experience with local cuisine working in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Maine Coast town of Kennebunkport.  Jason received his degree in culinary arts from the Florida Culinary Institute/NEIT in West Palm Beach.
 
The Kehoe House, located across from Columbia Square, is a 15,000 square-foot mansion originally built in 1892 and is constructed of red brick, terra cotta moldings and iron.  Fourteen fireplaces appoint the interior, with high ceilings, intricate moldings, and hardwood, pine floors throughout the property.  It also has a modern elevator servicing all floors, a double parlor, music room, formal dinning room, unique artwork, antique mirrors, Grand Bohemian Gallery, showcased on interior walls, and a top floor 2,000 square-foot meeting room.  An intimate side garden and a private garden courtyard highlight the beautifully landscaped grounds.

The Kehoe House shares the legendary name and refined standards of Richard C. Kessler�s hotel collection.  The Kessler Collection includes the AAA four-diamond Casa Monica Hotel in historic, St. Augustine, FL; the AAA four-diamond Westin Grand Bohemian in Orlando; the AAA four-diamond Celebration Hotel in Celebration; Hampton Inn Savannah North; Doubletree Castle Hotel in Orlando; Sheraton Studio City Hotel in Orlando; Red Horse Inn in Orlando; the chic and luxurious Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah � slated to open February 2005 and the Sheraton Safari Hotel� an affiliated property, in Orlando and the Kessler Canyon in Grand Junction.
