Gaylord Texan is installing 82 IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals running Revelation, a state-of-the-art, Microsoft-based open system technology, and 15 handheld terminals using the InfoGenesis Handheld Solution to manage all food and beverage and retail transactions at 28 profit centers throughout the property.

Handhelds provide improved guest satisfaction and service poolside, while Revelation will integrate with USA Technologies to provide a wireless and cashless payment option for Gaylord�s guests. In the future, Gaylord plans to allows guests to use their room key to play games in the resort�s family arcade or purchase sodas at any vending machine.
