Brian D. Keys Named Director of Food and Beverage
of the 486-room Hilton Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA, Calif., April 21, 2002 - Brian D. Keys has been named director of food and beverage of the 486-room Hilton Costa Mesa. Keys most recently served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage of the Hilton San Francisco.

An 8-year Hilton veteran, Keys began his career in 1996 as assistant banquet manager for the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. Keys has held positions such as restaurants manager, meetings conventions manager and executive steward at the Hilton Atlanta. Keys transferred to the Hilton Hawaiian Village as assistant director of food & beverage in 2001. 

Active in community organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco he was also a member for both the Atlanta and San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau. Keys a native of Limerick, Ireland speaks conversational French and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in hospitality manager from C.E.R.T. College Dublin, Ireland. 

Conveniently located in the heart of Orange County between Los Angeles and San Diego, the hotel is close to the Orange County Performing Arts Center and Disneyland Resort and minutes from the beaches of Huntington, Newport and Laguna.  The hotel, a joint venture with CNL Hospitality Corporation and Hilton Hotels Corporation, recently underwent a $16 million renovation, which has made it one of the premier hotels in South Orange County.
