and improving guest service.  E-fridge technology also provides intelligent room functionality for controlling in-room devices such as the thermostat, lighting, and safes.  In addition, its wireless feature provides a network infrastructure for easy implementation of guest room high-speed Internet access.

``Mark's proven operational and strategic track records, together with his experience in the hospitality industry, are an ideal fit for Bartech,'' said Daniel Cohen, president and CEO of Bartech Systems International, parent of Bartech USA. ``With his leadership, we will be well positioned to achieve the same level of success in the U.S. market as we have throughout the rest of the world.''

Mr. Holzberg's duties will include managing the company's US direct and indirect sales organization; driving marketing, communications, and public relations functions, including acting as the company spokesperson; directing business development activities, and managing the field operations and customer service functions. He will also be a key player in the overall development and execution of corporate strategy as well as in the area of product development.

``Bartech has a tremendous opportunity in the US.  With the industrys most advanced minibar technology, Bartech scores a one-two punch for managing costs and driving revenue through hotel in-room systems,'' said Holzberg. I am looking forward to bringing the operational and guest service advantages of the technology to the U.S. market.

Mark Holzberg comes directly to Bartech from TravelCLICK, a leading provider of digital media and data solutions to the travel industry.  In his role as CFO, he was responsible for the overall financial direction of the $70+ million firm.  Prior to joining TravelCLICK, he was president and CEO of AlphaNet Hospitality Systems, a technology and service company whose products include InnFax in-room facsimile service, guest and meeting room communications solutions, and unattended hotel business centers. Here he led the company from start up to market dominance, resulting in a successful initial public offering.  Holzberg has held other executive title roles in his career, including president of the Travel Services Division at Western Union and CEO of an air express company.
