Gregg Enright Named General Manager of the
OHANA Keauhou Beach Resort on
Hawaii's Big Island
.
HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII - February 2004 - Chuck Shishido, vice president of operations for OHANA Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to announce that Gregg Enright has joined the OHANA Keauhou Beach Resort as general manager. Enright was most recently general manager of the Outrigger at Lae nani, a resort condominium on the island of Kauai operated by OHANA's parent company, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts.

"Gregg has spent five years on Kauai as general manager of Outrigger at Lae nani and helped reestablish the property to its once infamous moniker as 'The Jewel of the Coconut Coast.' Gregg hand picked his management team and, while working closely with the Association of Apartment Owners and the Rental Committee, transformed this lovely property while formulating a positive relationship between Outrigger and the owners at Lae nani." Shishido said. "Gregg and his family enjoyed their time on the Garden Isle and being part of the community. But as someone who enjoys new challenges and opportunities, Gregg is pleased to be tackling a new property and new island with his move to the Big Island and the OHANA Keauhou Beach Resort."

Enright, a 17-year veteran with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, has worked in a variety of management positions during his tenure with the company. He began his career with Outrigger in 1987 as restaurant manager and, subsequently, food & beverage manager at the Outrigger Prince Kuhio. In 1995, he joined Outrigger's comprehensive general manager training program and during that time worked as hotel manager for the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, the former OHANA Ala Wai Towers and the former Royal Waikoloan, today the Waikoloa Beach Marriott on Hawaii's Big Island

In 1996, Enright returned to Oahu to become resident operations manager of the OHANA Islander Waikiki, where he oversaw all facets of an $8.4 million renovation of the property. Enright stayed on as general manager following the reopening of the hotel, and he and his team were recognized in 1997 with the company's first Award for Innovation. Enright is also a multiple recipient of Outrigger's prestigious President's Award.

OHANA Hotels & Resorts is a division of Outrigger Enterprises, Inc., the largest locally owned lodging company in Hawaii and one of the fastest growing lodging companies in the Pacific.
