Five premier properties in Mexico and Panama to install
Visual One PMS, POS, Guest Activities and
Central Guest Management

March 01, 2004 – Visual One Systems Corporation, a supplier of management
software to the hospitality industry since 1977 has finalized a five-property
deal with Avalon Resorts. Beginning April 2004 the five premier properties,
which are located throughout Mexico and Panama, will be implementing the
Visual One Property Management, Point-of-Sale, Guest Activity Planning,
and Central Guest Management systems.

The Visual One PMS and POS systems are installed in some of the finest resorts around the world. The seamless integration of all the Visual One products on a single SQL server provides the ultimate in integration and data accessibility. Additionally, because each of the products can be maintained in a single server environment, properties lower their hardware infrastructure costs and increase their technology efficiency. For bilingual resort companies such as Avalon Resorts, Visual One also provides a user interface that displays the system screens in either Spanish or English based on the user that is logged in.
The Visual One Guest Activity Planner and Central Guest Management modules add more functionality to the PMS and POS systems. The Activity Planner allows a resort environment to control easily create guest itineraries for vacation activities such as tours, transportations, dinner reservations, golf tee-times and much more. Central Guest Management allows all five properties to share guest history and reservation information to create an ideal marketing and repeat guest management solution.
In addition to the products mentioned above, Visual One Systems also offers sales & catering, back office accounting, golf course management, spa management, and club management software. All Visual One products use the Microsoft SQL database platform.
