Mr. Young�s was most recently, Director of Corporate Development for Hotel Information Systems. Prior to joining Hotel Information Systems, he was as V.P. of Hotel Systems and Integration for Newtrade Technologies Inc.  He sits on the American Hotel and Lodging Association�s e-business committee, is co-chair of the Open Travel Alliance Adoption Committee and is a member of the advisory board for Spotnik Mobile, a hospitality WiFi start-up company based in Toronto, Ontario.

Hotel Information Systems� CMO Seth Christian, also announces the appointment of Brian Bowerfind as Vice President of Global Strategic Sales.  "Brian�s history with Hotel Information Systems and understanding of the needs of global hotel chains makes him ideally suited for this position," said Mr. Christian. Prior to this new role Mr. Bowerfind was Director of U.S. Sales for H.I.S.  Since becoming a Director in June 2001, Mr. Bowerfind  implemented strategic sales programs domestically with a growing influence throughout the Company�s worldwide locations. He has been a vital part of the management team in securing the business of some of the top hotel companies in the industry.

Mr. Bowerfind brings extensive industry knowledge to H.I.S. , having served in multiple areas of increasing responsibility throughout the company. Prior to joining the Company in 1993, Mr. Bowerfind gained thorough knowledge of hospitality operations with significant exposure in corporate chain and franchise environments. 

Mr. Bowerfind has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and will be receiving his Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Global Business this September.
