|ORLANDO, FLA – January 21, 2004 – The scores are in! The AAA
four-diamond Westin Grand Bohemian has done it again! Not only did
this swank and luxurious hotel receive the 2002 “Best in Brand” award for
Westin Hotels & Resorts in North America, the upper-upscale brand of
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT), but has received
the highest and most respected award by receiving the “Westin 2003 Global
GSI (Guest Satisfaction Index) Award! This award is proudly given
to the one hotel within the Westin brand that receives the highest scores
for guest satisfaction involving every aspect of the guest experience.
The Starwood Corporate Survey is conducted by NFO WorldGroup, an independent research agency. Surveys are collected both by mail and electronically from guests who have recently completed a stay at one of Westin’s 123 properties located throughout the world. Each qualifying hotel is required to receive a minimum of 150 guest responses per quarter with questions evaluating the service and facilities of the property, including the likelihood of returning to that particular hotel, recommending it to a friend, rating the overall experience and staying at another hotel within the brand.

In addition to the rare artwork, the hotel is also home to a very rare and expensive Imperial Grand Bösendorfer piano, one of only two in the world.
