The long-term deal will see the properties continue to be managed by Rendezvous Hotels International and aligned to the internationally recognised Clarion brand, part of the Flag Choice stable of hotel brands. The Clarion brand represents a stylish collection of hotels, offering exceptional service and facilities for business and leisure travellers. Under the new agreement the Rendezvous properties in Adelaide, Brisbane,
Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Singapore will be co-branded and will partner
with Flag Choice Hotels in the GDS and other distribution channels including
the recently launched Choice Privileges and the highly popular international
HotelPass product.
�The partnership will hold many benefits for both groups, providing Rendezvous with an extensive distribution model and Flag Choice Hotels with an exciting and progressive partner in growing the Clarion brand in key gateway cities throughout Australia and Asia" said Mr Brent Russell, President & Chief Executive Officer of Flag Choice Hotels. From 1st of November 2003, Rendezvous hotel inventory will be available through the Flag Choice reservation websites and as part of the HotelPass program.
