Eric Jacobs Named Vice President
of Real Estate, Tarsadia Hotels

 
COSTA MESA � September 19, 2003 - Tarsadia Hotels announced the hire of two new key industry contacts at the Costa Mesa corporate office: Eric Jacobs, Vice President of Real Estate, and Edward Coss, Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Eric Jacobs joins Tarsadia from Hilton Hotels where he was Director of Franchise Development, Western Region. Eric brings a diverse background in both hotel development and operations. He is a graduate of University of Nevada Las Vegas Hotel College. As Tarsadia�s VP of Real Estate, Eric is responsible for all new business development including the acquisition of existing hotels and land for new projects, and the dispositions of hotel assets. 

Edward Coss has represented Tarsadia Hotels for the past 18 years through his law practice at Coss Shreiar & Lazof.  In his 25 years of practice, Ed has specialized in mergers and acquisitions, hotel transactions, real estate, general business and corporate practice, and contracts.  In his role as General Counsel, Ed will continue to be responsible for all legal work for Tarsadia, and as Executive Vice President will help direct Tarsadia�s real estate ventures.

Established in 1976, Tarsadia Hotels has 27 years experience in hotel management, acquisition and development. Currently Tarsadia operates a total of 15 hotels, 13 California-based, and over 4,400 rooms in Orange County and the key gateway cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas. Represented are a variety of brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, and Choice Hotels.
