Michael Pitstick Joins The Dow Hotel Company as
Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing
SEATTLE, Wash., November 18, 2003--The Dow Hotel Company, LLC (DHC) an emerging national owner-operator of first-class hotels, announced today that Michael Pitstick has joined the company as corporate director of sales & marketing.  

�Our company now has the critical mass and national distribution to provide a new level of services to our owners, � said Murray L. Dow II.  �With more than 20 years� experience in marketing, Mike will play an integral role in helping our managed hotels gain market share and continue to outperform their peer group in local markets.    He will be responsible for establishing property-level marketing strategies and overseeing the property-level execution of our sales and marketing strategies, assisting with recruiting and training.   His background will add substantial expertise in acquisition-related activities, such as due diligence and feasibility analysis, which will play an integral role in our continued expansion through acquisitions both in joint ventures and for our own account.�

Prior to joining The Dow Hotel Company, Pitstick was vice president of sales & marketing for Carlson Hotels � Americas� managed hotels division.   At Carlson, he previously held the position of vice president of sales & marketing for Radisson Hotels.   His background also includes roles as corporate director of sales and marketing for Boykin Hotels and Ridgewood Hotels.  He began his career at Servico Hotels.

Pitstick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Purdue University.
