TravelCLICK's RateVIEW Endorsed by InterContinental
Hotels Group's Asia-Pacific Properties
Chicago IL (18 December, 2003) - Ray Cohen, president and co-CEO of TravelCLICK, announced today that InterContinental Hotels Group has endorsed TravelCLICK's RateVIEW report to its properties in the Asia-Pacific region.

RateVIEW is the preferred reporting service by hoteliers who use up to the minute (not cached) rate information for their revenue management and pricing decisions. RateVIEW enables the best possible revenue management decisions by providing real time rate intelligence. It is the only report that allows hotels to separately identify retail from merchant (wholesale) rates on various travel Web sites. The report is accessible on-demand through TravelCLICK's client extranet, the Electronic Marketing Centre (EMC), a secure, personalized, password-protected site.

"RateVIEW is unique because it offers hotels real-time information that is always just minutes old," said Richard W. Gray, chairman and co-CEO of TravelCLICK. "Given the intensely competitive nature of the marketplace today, this capability is fundamental to maximizing net revenue from both the Internet and the GDS electronic channels. We are pleased that the Asia-Pacific InterContinental Hotel Group properties have adapted the report as part of their 'best business' practices."

"To achieve top Web performance, our hotels need real time information. RateVIEW is the only product that hotels can use to get data that is fresh and accurate. We are thrilled to endorse RateVIEW throughout our properties in Asia-Pacific as part of our ongoing strategy to maintain competitive advantage," said Klaus Kohlmayr, director of distribution marketing for the Asia-Pacific region of InterContinental Hotels Group.

Early next year, RateVIEW will be upgraded to include scheduled reporting, along with a feature that allows users to identify "fences" associated with the rate (i.e., advance purchase restrictions, cancellation/change penalties, pre-payment).
