to Dolce International to Operate the
214 room Hayes Mansion
|Montvale, New Jersey – USA (December 12, 2003) – Dolce International
has been selected to manage the historic Hayes Mansion Conference Center
in San Jose, California. The San Jose City Council awarded the 10-year
contract to Dolce International in a unanimous vote on December 2. This
luxuriously appointed property will be repositioned as Dolce Hayes Mansion
and becomes the twenty-third property in the Dolce Conference and Resort
A new wing, adding 74 rooms and a new conference wing, was completed in 2002.
“We are thrilled to be selected to manage this property and to have a California destination to offer our customers,” said company founder and CEO, Andy Dolce. “The Dole Hayes Mansion fits perfectly in our portfolio as a unique meeting destination for corporate and association meetings, management development and sales training. Kay Winer, Deputy City Manager of San Jose, calls the decision to award the management contract to Dolce, “a win-win situation.” She continues, “We are very excited to enter into a long-term relationship with Dolce International. Their global reputation will serve us well and help raise the visibility of both the Hayes Mansion and the City of San Jose. It is the prime example of a private and public partnership.”
Cedric Fasbender, a conference center professional with 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has been named General Manager for the property. “We are delighted to be introducing the Dolce culture to the wonderful workforce that is already in place at this phenomenal property. We are looking forward to hosting many successful events and continuing the high-caliber of service and commitment for which the Hayes Mansion is known.”
