CHICAGO, Dec. 11, 2003 - Hostmark Hospitality Group will launch the
first flagship high-end Amalfi Hotel Brand in Chicago's River North, scheduled
to open in early 2004. The new boutique hotel is steps from the city's
most acclaimed restaurants, galleries and shopping.
The innovative Amalfi Hotel Chicago is designed with an Italian flair to provide an experience like no other. Staffed by service performers who understand Chicago and why people visit and travel - Amalfi Hotel Chicago delivers savvy attitude, style and a sense of confidence to every guest. "With its history, culture, art and restaurants, Chicago presented itself as a perfect place to launch the Amalfi brand," said Tim Pigsley, vice president of marketing for Hostmark Hospitality Group. The first Amalfi Hotel addresses a void within the hotel industry, offering a unique marriage of everything a guest needs and nothing a guest does not. Featuring a residential atmosphere in the each of the 215 guestrooms and a personal, unique style throughout the hotel, guests are guaranteed the reliability and superior level of business amenities and services which business travelers require. Amalfi Hotel Chicago guest rooms will include luxury pillow top king and queen beds, fully stocked honor bar, in-room DVD/CD players, high speed Internet service, Aveda bath products and multi-head showers.
